Silas Wilfred Loso

Born 1890-08-01 in Beekmantown, Clinton County, New York, a township on Lake Champlain just north of Plattsburgh. One of about thirteen Loso siblings. Father of Wilfred 'Pete' Loso. Moved with the family to Washington County, Vermont. The Loso surname here is almost certainly anglicized French-Canadian. The Beauval maiden name of his mother is plainly French-Canadian, confirming the Loso line's roots across the Champlain border. Died 1958-04-30 in Washington County, VT, age 67. Buried Plainmont Cemetery, East Montpelier.
